Maintenance Mechanic
Cambridge, MN
Job Responsibilities
- Preventative maintenance, daily, weekly, monthly PM orders and work orders.
- Trouble shooting electrical issues.
- Welding and fabrication as needed.
- Organizing and cleaning work areas.
- Repair and replace plant equipment bearings and belts as needed.
Duties
- Daily morning meeting, work orders.
- Conduct regular inspection of assigned work areas.
- Complete assigned work orders.
- Comply with all corporate and state/federal policies and OSHA rules.
- Compliance to all plant audits.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Job Requirements, Skills and Qualifications
- Understanding of electrical control and distribution systems failure / repair.
- 2 years of experience in the industrial maintenance position.
- State of Minnesota boiler license.
- Able to effectively communicate on the telephone.
- Competent use of business English in formal communication via email.
- Experience with MS Office, particularly Outlook, Excel and Word, and ideally Power Point to basic level.
- Good typing skills (30 words per minute; 10-key).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Certifications/Licenses
- Boiler license.
- Electrical license is a plus.

- Diagnostic tools.

- Power hand tools.
- Blue print reading.
- Electrical prints.
Physical Requirements
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Climb ladders and stairs.
- Ability to work on 70 ft. elevated platform.
Other Information
- 8:00 am– 4:30 pm Monday – Friday; Overtime as needed.
