Maintenance Mechanic

Cambridge, MN

Job Responsibilities
  • Preventative maintenance, daily, weekly, monthly PM orders and work orders.
  • Trouble shooting electrical issues.
  • Welding and fabrication as needed.
  • Organizing and cleaning work areas.
  • Repair and replace plant equipment bearings and belts as needed.
  • Daily morning meeting, work orders.
  • Conduct regular inspection of assigned work areas.
  • Complete assigned work orders.
  • Comply with all corporate and state/federal policies and OSHA rules.
  • Compliance to all plant audits.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Job Requirements, Skills and Qualifications
  • Understanding of electrical control and distribution systems failure / repair.
  • 2 years of experience in the industrial maintenance position.
  • State of Minnesota boiler license.
  • Able to effectively communicate on the telephone.
  • Competent use of business English in formal communication via email.
  • Experience with MS Office, particularly Outlook, Excel and Word, and ideally Power Point to basic level.
  • Good typing skills (30 words per minute; 10-key).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Boiler license.
  • Electrical license is a plus.

Physical Requirements
  • Able to lift 50 lbs.

  • Ability to work on 70 ft. elevated platform.
Other Information
  • 8:00 am– 4:30 pm Monday – Friday; Overtime as needed.
